Hungaroring — one of the most atmospheric circuits on the F1 calendar. The track is located just 20 km from the centre of Budapest — one of Europe’s most picturesque and business-oriented cities. Built in a natural “bowl”, it resembles a karting track: few straights, numerous technical corners, where aerodynamics and precision matter more than pure engine power. 4.381 km of pure challenge for the drivers, 70 laps of intense racing, and panoramic views from the grandstands.
This is where, in 1986, the first-ever Formula 1 race behind the “Iron Curtain” took place, with Nelson Piquet taking victory after overtaking Ayrton Senna around the outside.
Near the circuit, there is an aqua park for relaxation, while the city offers thermal baths, restaurants, and a rich cultural programme.
