A reinvented Viennese landmark, Rosewood Vienna pays homage to the heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary culture of the capital, set in the heart of its Old Town on Petersplatz. The building, dating from 1838 and formerly home to Erste Group Bank, still features a golden bee on its façade. This is the very quarter where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived and worked in the 1780s.

Behind the restored 19th-century façade, a design language blends illustrious grandeur with local artistry. A hand-painted mural blooms across Salon Aurelie's walls, crystal chandeliers by Lobmeyr cast soft light onto Backhausen textiles, and a ceramic vase installation offers an ode to the Danube. Above it all, space is settled tableside, where cuisine celebrates Viennese heritage through fresh expression, seasonal ingredients, and Austrian flavour. A reimagined Gugelhupf cake honours tradition alongside wines from nearby Nussberg, enjoyed either at the unique rooftop bar or during an urban vineyard experience.
