Cheval Blanc Randheli is in the Maldives archipelago, in the unspoiled setting of Noonu Atoll, 40 minutes north of Malé. Amid the isolated splendour of the Indian Ocean, this intimate and contemporary refuge of 46 villas offers stylish and harmonious decor in a relaxed atmosphere.
An elegant and refined paradise, Cheval Blanc Randheli is the work of the celebrated architect Jean-Michel Gathy. Each villa is an oasis of calm and pleasure, aligned at the juncture where lush tropical vegetation meets the turquoise lagoon. Each is the centre of a welcoming and intimate universe — spectacular spaces that monumental wooden pivoting doors can separate or connect according to guests’ desires.
Designed in the spirit of loft living, the villas combine a sense of detail and tailor-made furniture to offer an exclusive residential experience. In an aesthetic combining local inspirations and contemporary sensibility, island materials such as teak, rattan, bamboo, thatch and coconut are  refined with graphic lines and original volumes. A subtle colour palette combines elegant tones of white and taupe with the liveliness of pop-art yellow and tangy green.
A collection of contemporary artworks by Vincent Beaurin complements the design of the resort. The emblem of the resort is “Arch,” a monumental sculpture rising from the lagoon. “Constellation” is a centre piece at the fine-dining restaurant Le 1947, and finally one each of the series “Crowns”, composed of 46 shimmering ocelli, is installed in each of the villas. The artist has covered these circular “eyes” with the glitter of coloured glass, giving a chromatic experience that reverberates with the signature colours of Cheval Blanc Randheli.
