About the hotel

Chalet Woodpecker is an elegantly decorated chalet ideally located on Alpe d'Huez. The chalet is on Avenue de l'Eclose, at the southern end of the main village, just off the road leading to the village centre. The town center of Alpe d'Huez, a 5-minute walk from the chalet, and the proximity to the slopes will delight skiers. The tracks go down to the old village of Huez. For the less experienced, the chalet is only 3 minutes from the cable car which leads to the slopes for beginners and the departure of the main chairlifts.

Types of accommodation

This spacious 7 bedroom chalet can accommodate 15 people. It extends over three floors. The interior is nicely decorated, in a warm and modern Alpine style.

On the first floor you will find a pleasant living room opening onto the dining room which gives access to a large balcony where you can enjoy a hot chocolate after your day on the slopes while enjoying the last rays of the sun. The dining room, with windows facing both sides of the building, gives you incredible views while you have breakfast or dinner. The kitchen is open to the dining room and is fully equipped with an oven, a four-ring hob, a dishwasher, a fridge, a freezer, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster, a Nespresso machine and a coffee percolator. You will have everything you need to prepare a great meal for your friends or family.
